This is CRAZY!!! We got a call to Orlando to look at antiques in a storage unit. After hauling out the gorgeous furniture I will now be listing, I came across this early painting all wrapped up! Here’s the story on it..

On way back to Ocala this painting was sitting on my brothers lap. He began to Google the artist; FW Rogers. A link came up under Invaluable for this artist. ( check yourselves) After pulling up Rogers “sold” auction price we realized we were holding onto The EXACT SAME PAINTING!! If you compare painting, tags on back; bottom right corner of on tag missing, frame, Foster tag on back, “Queen Tabby” title, etc...We definitely have the exact same painting that sold in St Petersburg in 2014 for 1800.00. The estimate then was 2k-4K as Invaluable will show you. It’s crazy! I think in over 40 years of picking this is the first time this has happened to me! Small world!!
This painting does have the one small area of damage just above the cats back as pic show. Frank Whiting Rogers was born 1854 and died 1917. Any of his artwork fetches high prices as you can see. Frame measures 19 1/2 X 16 1/2”.  I’ve attached pictures off Invaluable at end so you can see for yourself it’s the same painting.  Sold by Burchard Galleries of St Petersburg in August 2014.
