When was the last time you saw one? Or had one this clean and nice? This is a beauty! Came from same great local estate several of these pieces listed came from. I believe this piece is walnut even though it almost has the oak look. I also believe it’s English; late 1800’s. Look at each pic carefully. There aren’t any screws going through drawers to the knobs. They are the actual wooden posts on knobs going through the holes and glued into place. From the early dovetail on drawers, to the back. From the skeleton key to the finials up top, this piece is a Grand Slam! Lock in good working condition. Locks all your drawers up! I can’t say enough about it. It’s NICE!
