Now this is an interesting guitar with just as interesting origination!
Built exclusively for Montgomery Ward, this Carson J. Robison guitar is a fantastic treasure from the Depression Era. This guitar was built by the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ultra rare blues guitar. One of several made the 1930's by gibson for Montgomery Ward. Endorsed by Carson J. Robinson a popular western star of the time. A very well made ladder braced guitar with a beautiful Burst with original finish. The instrument has a straight neck with the desirable thick V found on the L 00 and other Gibsons of the era. Original tuners. Stunning original fire-stripe pick guard. The guitar is in perfect playing condition with that vintage gibson blues sound. Good volume with good projection. Stays in tune well. Wonderful condition. This is a great looking authentic very rare instrument. Guitar is set up and ready to play.
