Here we have a very early cast iron cauldron that has a wonderful primitive feel.

Footed in excellent condition. With a  beautiful patina.  I would not hesitate to cook something wonderful in this pot

Bail handel  and gate mark on the bottom this one of a kind pot will make a wonderful antique piece for your home or collection.

This cauldron has the gate mark on the bottom from when the pot was broken out of the mold.

 A technique they used in the mid 1700s to 1875 .
