Description
The Bowie Knife iconic fixed blade knife is thick with history and is said to have made appearances at the Alamo and in that classic film, "Crocodile Dundee." Modern Bowie knives still have the DNA of their historical forefathers: they're big knives, bold cutters and designed to get work done.
Damascus is a mixture of 1095 and 15N20, they are heated and then folded over and over to get the desired layers. The blade is burned in acid and it turns the layers into different colors. The layering process also results in a blade that is harder and durable than a single type of steel.
The rain drop pattern in this Damascus steel is a stunning display of nature's beauty captured in metal. The wavy lines flow gracefully across the surface, reminiscent of raindrops falling gently on a calm body of water. Each droplet is perfectly formed, with a smooth, polished surface that catches the light in a mesmerizing dance. The rain drop pattern adds depth and texture to the steel, creating a unique and captivating look that is both timeless and modern.
