This auction lot features three sets of 1964 Tokyo Olympics official overprint stamp blocks, each containing four stamps. The stamps depict various Olympic sports scenes with distinctive red overprint on the images. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing the stamps are official Japanese government overprints and not valid for postage. The blocks measure approximately 48mm square and are mounted on original backing cards as shown. A rare collectible item celebrating the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games.
