This WWII era US Army folding shovel, also known as an entrenching tool, was manufactured by Ames. It features a rusted, steel shovel blade with a foldable joint and a dark wooden handle. The shovel is marked with 'US AMES 1944' on the blade.. Overall good vintage condition with surface rust consistent with age.
