Description:

Lot #73 1960s Eickhorn Meyer M1902 Eastern Military Academy Officer saber with sheath.

Etched with name Robert S Sackett, who attended the academy 1959-1963. Only officers and the sergeant-at-arms carried a sword.

The Eastern Military Academy closed in 1977 after an expelled student returned and set the dorms on fire, leading to the eventual loss of JROTC status.

Sheath shows heavy oxidation, sword in very nice condition.

Made in West Germany.
