Movin On Estate Sales

Upon opening and inspecting this piece for pictures, this very old note fell out. And the best part? I googled him and comes right up! This piece should actually go back to New England for Auction but have decided it’s here..So now it’s up to you! In case you can’t read the note, this Writing box was used by Captain Emery Dodge. Bluehill, Maine. From 1815 to 1863. There is a drawer in great working condition on one end, and a lift out pencil groove. 
This is a really great early piece of history which would be an awesome addition to any country collection! Box is in outstanding condition and completely original. Measures 20 1/2” wide x 7” tall x 10 1/2” deep.
