This piece came out of an estate in Upstate NY. The owner told me it was in his folks estate as long as he can remember just as it sits. And I asked as I don’t believe the stand is original to it. In fact I’m about sure the spool cabinet was mounted to this stand a long time ago. Leave as is or take off stand. Good original handles. One of them has some white paint or substance on it. There is a split on one end on the top of cabinet and I’m pointing to a new small Brad someone had put in at some point. It’s the only flaw I see on this solid two drawer chest.
