It is a #8, Has the raised Griswold Logo on top of cover with writing on the inside. On the inside cover as pic show is the #8, Griswold logo again, Self Basting Patent ??(I can’t make that out). Under that is #1288. Then there’s the trivet which alone are bringing crazy money. This one states in writing The Griswold MFG Co. Erie, PA USA. Below that is again the #8, then Trivet. At bottom is #206. There are No breaks or damage to this beautiful collectible Dutch oven!
