The lady told me her grandparents were from Germany and her grandfather said it was a humidor, and used it as such. I have no clue; never seen this before. It’s actually very attractive. In really good condition. Top flips up on its own when pushing down on lever. Glass insert. Stamped Germany as pic shows.
