Description:

German POW Camp Stalag II-A was built in 1939 in Neubrandenburg, Germany, & OFLAG II-E was added on in 1940. This badge or “dog tag” type identifier belonged to prisoner number 787. This has the original patina, & very legible lettering. A rare find, and great historical piece. I only wish we knew who prisoner 787 was so we could get this to his family.
