This beauty is ALL WOOD! Quality made over 100 years ago - If you look closely at the handle, you’ll see it’s held in place with wooden pegs. The “arms” on either side of the lid are also wood & they lock the lid in place for carrying. Moderate damage to the bottom on one side, & looks like repair was done in another spot. Even considering that, it’s a terrific vintage display piece or conversation piece no matter how you look at it. Roughly 8” X 11” X 4-1/2”. Simply a beautiful item.
