This beauty came from the estate in historic district where many of these antiques in auction came from. I honestly have no idea what kind of metal it is. I’ve never seen one like this. At first I thought it was Sterling but then realized it’s too heavy. Definitely not pewter. My guess is some time of a heavy base metal with a coating of this silver material. Either way it’s very solid and in pristine condition
