Purchased a number of items at one estate that had a boat-load of wooden masks, assorted wall hang8ngs, carved birds, turtles, dogs, etc. Most were from Africa or certainly had African influences. These fi5 right in.
The Pelican is one piece of solid heavy wood - 22-1/2” Tall - has a check (drying crack) partway up - gives it character!
The Giraffe appears hand-carved then attached to its base. It is 24” Tall - it’s missing one ear but displays nicely from the other side.
