Auction has ended.
This shotgun is our of my personal collection. But, it is time to find it a new home.
I have had it on display for years but it is being replaced by a new rifle.
It was purchased as part of a large collection. I believe it is a 12 gauge but I never measured it nor have I shot it.
It has what appears to be the original ramrod. All other parts of the gun appear original. It has some nice hand chasing and the barrel is made of Damascus steel.
It appears that the barrel has been chased from one end to the other. I was once told it was from shooting it but I having a hard time accepting that. (it's to uniform)
The stock is in AMAZING condition showing very little wear for the age.
This gun is approximately 160-170 years old.
There is no maker name but that is not that unusual for the era.
Any questions please feel free to ask before bidding.
I have a very low starting price for a gun of this age and caliper.
