hese are  gorgeous and durable handcrafted  coiled basket chargers
These baskets are most likely made from sweetgrass.
Rich brown color.

There are many way to use these  practical tray baskets.
Traditionally this style would have been to hold plates.
Making it easy to remove between each course.
Sizes can vary as each basket is unique and hand woven.

Coiled baskets are crafted from one continuous strand of sweetgrass and bundles of bulrush sewn together in a spiral.
Palmetto leaves are tightly wound around the coils of sweetgrass. 
Each charger has the unique touch of the artisan who made it. There are no two exactly alike. The charges for sale her were
most likely made by the same person.  The are very close to being the same.

Condition is excellent considering age and use. 
Show very little sign of ware.

Measure 13.25 wide and .75 tall.

Drop down where the plate sits is 9 inches.
