Ruth Rodman is a native of Boston who studied at the Museum of Fine Arts. She is now well-known for her expertise in creating collagraphs, a printmaking technique in which the image is printed from a highly embossed collage adhered to a sheet of masonite. Rodman's innovative methods for delicately-textured surfaces in landscape images have gained her much critical acclaim. Her work has been part of exhibits, one-person shows and the personal collections of museums in New York, Minneapolis and Boston.
