Description:

For collectors, this is a wonderful grouping of Military from one gentleman. This is what I can tell you that I know. Per the lady I got this from.... William R. Stelzner was a great friend of her grandfathers. When Stelzner passed these items were given to this lady’s grandfather. When her grandfather passed, they were left to this lady I got from. She has decided where they weren’t her actual family she would pass them on to someone who might like them. She claimed he is from Wisconsin. I almost broke up this lot but thought it should be kept together. I am pointing to William Stelzner in the photo accompanying this lot. His military jacket is signed Stelzner. The folded flag in case has his plaque; William R Stelzner 1924-1999. The Purple Heart & Bronze Stars were earned by him. And then check out his baby picture in an incredibly beautiful frame With Convex glass; also signed on back as Stelzner. Check out the badges, bars, and awards on jacket! Some sterling.
there is a little bit of damage to top collar of jacket as pic shows. Other than that this jacket is in remarkable condition!
And note....The next couple lots coming up have to do with this gentleman William Stelzner as well.
you know yourself you can find the jacket or the Purple Heart all day long. But finding the group such as this with photos, flag, uniform, etc...is tough to do.
NOTE: Please see lot #29 as this gentleman’s Dog Tags and another medal were just uncovered.
