Antique Picture in frame of Venice, Italy. Scene of the gondolas and sailboats in the old country under a sinking sun. This is the scene I think of if I ever hear of Venice, although I’ve never been. This is very old. Might have came over on the Santa Maria with Christopher Columbus. Acquired this from my grandfather and it was old he said when he got it. You can see the back of the frame and see it has some age to it. I have never taken the nails out, so I’m not sure what could be in there. Other Oil paintings, $100 bills, gold bullion, no idea. But the frame has seen better days. Needs a little love. Of course they would hang this as is at Rennigers and put a price tag on it that would make you fall out. Be the person that sells it to those dealers. This is a good picture folks and would look great as a photo prop or hanging on a wall in a nice Victorian home somewhere. Dimensions pictured
