This is a really nice Authentic Antique weathervane. It was purchased in my last auction with some confusion. 
1st, This weathervane NEVER had an arrow which you can see if you pull up any of them for sale or sold on EBAY or by googling. I was told it was missing the arrow. 
2nd, I was told it would not go back together properly or stand up. I just spent 5 minutes putting it together( just 3 pieces for breaking it down from directional, etc) and it goes back together perfect and stands perfect as pics show. 
3rd, you will notice in two pics; I’m pointing to two spots where two feet of horse has a “spot weld” which has come apart. That is it! I don’t know when or how the break there happened but is an easy fix. I was going to find a local weld or solder shop just to hit those two spots but just been really busy and haven’t gotten to it. 
Again, this beauty is complete, stands up properly,  has wonderful old patina, and an overall excellent piece of Americana!
