Movin On Estate Sales

This absolute beauty just came from a doctors home in Ormond Beach along with many treasures. I’m from New England so don’t blame me if I have this fish wrong; but was told it’s a Mahi Mahi. This fish is between 40”-42” long! Beautiful grain and wood. Hand carved. The owners told me it came out of a very high end shop when they bought it several years ago. It is not signed. It lifts off a heavy duty Wood dowel/Base. In one pic you will see me pointing at a fin underneath fish that had broken off. Don’t have it. But it really is unnoticeable at same time. There are a couple other fins/tail that had broken off but re-glued on at some point. And again unless you’re really looking for them you won’t notice. The rest is in gorgeous condition. Very heavy piece and would look great in any setting.
