CS314 | 1997 American Originals Series "Black & Tan" lidded stein | This 9½" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. The 1st in the American Originals series. The series commemorates early (Pre-Prohibition) Anheuser-Busch beers brewed before Prohibition. The series starts with the brand Black & Tan, a porter beer initially brewed in 1899. The center graphic depicts the original Black & Tan bottle label with an early version of the A&Eagle logo. The pewter lid is deeply etched and the handle is in the shape of a beer tap. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Gift boxed.
