Emily is a candle maker. When she was a very little girl, her mother taught her how to melt the wax, add the different colors, and create shapes and patterns that delight the eye. All year long she makes Christmas candles that sparkle and glitter when lit, spreading the warm light everywhere. The magical, shifting shadows these candles cast on the walls tease the imagination. Boys and girls watch them for hours and hours. Feet have broken off the base.
