Description:

The Windsor Hotel was located next to Hemming Park. The Windsor was originally built in 1875 and burned to the ground in the great fire of 1901. In 1902 it was rebuilt and expanded in a grand architectural style with a balcony dining room that overlooked Hemming Park. This bowl was made by John Maddock & Sons England who used the backstamp seen on this bowl from 1896-1906.
