Boughner is a well known American artist who grew up in Mexico.  Her Beguiled by Color collection was exhibited in the Ormond Memorial Art Museum Florida in July 2015 which is where this particular piece was purchased. Her work is revered for its vibrant and fluid colors. Elisa Boughner is a grant recipient from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation to the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. This is an original oil canvas painting.
