The San Francisco Mint struck 124,250 $10 gold eagles in 1884. Most entered circulation, which explains why the majority of those seen today are between VF and XF. However, of those submitted for grading to NGC, the grades average between AU58 and MS61. MS62 examples are rare, and NGC has only certified three examples in MS63.
It is up to buyer to determine grade and value on coins. The writing on the packaging is not ours.
Please see pictures for overall condition. Bring packing supplies for your winnings and help to load large and heavy items.
