What a gorgeous early beaded purse. I found it in the bottom of the sweet small antique trunk I’m listing next. These items came down from New York so makes sense when I researched it to find the Iroquois folks did indeed sell these in the Niagara Falls area. So the best part…The beads are in immaculate condition!! Not a bit of damage found! Now the Orange colored cloth above and sewn into the beaded part does have some tears & damage to it. I’m thinking a collector will leave as is but if whoever gets it wants to actually use it then it would be an easy fix to sew into new material. Great early collectible!
