Where do you find anything like it?? This is a really early English Burl With heavy solid brass fittings and decorations throughout! Wow! Dome box lifts up; lap desk folds out to original felt lining/writing service. This is all one piece. The dome top box does not lift off. Just a spectacular early antique which would be a great conversation piece in any home! Overall very solid and nice condition with just a couple small pieces of Burl missing. You may never find another as nice as this!
