Alfonso T. Toran was born in Italy and came to NY. It was in New England he began painting miniatures, Watches & Clocks for the Waltham Clock co.. He would spend winters in Hollywood Florida where he painted many of his bird paintings such as this. This framed & signed piece is in magnificent condition and very attractive. There’s a lot of history on this artist if you’d like to research.
