These skates appear to be in real nice condition for age. The cover to box as shown says 1940 Roy May Pro. Cover has some old rollerskating stickers on it but also Wright Aeronautical sticker which is in good condition. The newspaper clipping is also dated 1940 from New Jersey and appears these skates may have been won in a skating competition.
