Marilyn Newmark (1928-2013) was commissioned to create Hall Of Fame champions Elkridge, Man O’ War, Affirmed, Genuine Risk, and Ruffin. All are currently in the permanent collection of the National Museum Of Racing & Hall Of Fame! 
Genuine Risk (1977-208) was a great American Thoroughbred racehorse & broodmare best known for winning the 1980 Kentucky Derby. Ranked #91 of the top 100 racehorses of the 20th Century & ranked in top 10 female horses of the 20th Century. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986. Her first mating was to the Triple Crown winner Secretariat in 1982. 
This is just an outstanding large well known horse bronze by a celebrated equine sculptor! Do NOT wait to get your max bids in. You may never have the opportunity to purchase this bronze again. If I had the room I’d keep as an investment as Newmarks works are going up in price every day! I’ve attached some reading and also the sold price of this bronze; which was many years ago. I added “Ruffian” as well which sold for 2k nearly 9 years ago…..As a comparison. The prices are going up!
