I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ring with two pieces such as this on inside. I’m guessing it was to make ring smaller in size to fit?? As it sits it’s a size 7 but am guessing you could make bigger by having one or both these things inside removed. They also appear to be gold. Very pretty ring!
