At first we thought this may be a pot metal. But after looking it over again & again we used a strong magnet and even scratched up inside the base. Does not stick. There is early patina to it as well. The back has a straight face so could easily be used as a doorstop. Not positive exactly what it was used for but are positive it’s bronze and in nice condition.
