The owner who has owned this wake/skim board??? Wrote out the history for me as I would have forgotten. Here goes:

This item is a Modification of the original Aqua Plane Board since it has a curved front. It was purchased by my father in approx 1955. It was often used at Lake Weir with a night school friend Robert “Bobby” Wines. Bobby’s father owned the Johnson Outboard Dealership. We often used a 200’ rope which created a “slingshot” effect, often sending the rider bouncing across and normally airborne. This item should be hanging on the ceiling of Eaton’s Beach Lake Weir! 
So there you have it. It’s old. It’s probably one of a kind. And his words, it should be hanging from the ceiling at Eaton’s Beach.
