This beautiful chest was lovingly and meticulously crafted by Oliver Franklin Culbreth, born 23 November 1870 in Elizabethtown North Carolina and died 5 March 1955 in the same town he was born in. While not farming, he was a wood worker like his father. This trunk has now been passed down through three generations.
