BOYS GONE PICKIN' AUCTIONS AND ESTATE SALES LLC

This cool unique drum type instrument was pulled out of same lifelong collection in a huge shed we are cleaning out. I don’t really know exactly what to call it. Bongo? The colors are beautiful on both sides and guarantee you it’s very old. It appears to say manufactured by HawCheng Co. Fatshan Kwangtong, China. ( I may have misspelled a couple words there based on difficulty to make out) 

it appears the tacks around edge are iron? Appears the Maine construction is wood but looks almost like a plaster was used to cover the wood. I really have no clue. Hoping you folks do. There is a bit of damage here n there but the piece I believe is worth at least getting out here for you folks to view. Check pics closely.
