I can’t tell you the actual age but can only tell you the daughter I got it from inherited it from her dad who was 94 and passed. She said she remembers it as a child in the house; her dad used to travel to Africa on business. It’s really the only thing I can tell you. It’s lightweight but appears all hand carved. There is a split in it as pic shows; I would imagine from age. Great old straw tied around the neck. We just took an empty box for it to sit on. Great conversation piece!
