This auction lot features a 1928 Series U.S. $2 Legal Tender Note. The note showcases a red seal and serial number, with a portrait of Thomas Jefferson on the front. The reverse side displays the Monticello, Jefferson's historic Virginia estate. The note is signed by the Treasurer of the United States and the Secretary of the Treasury from that period. An excellent collectible for currency enthusiasts and collectors of vintage American paper money.
