The reverse side shows a heraldic eagle with shield, holding an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by the inscriptions 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,' '1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR.' This coin is composed of one ounce of fine silver.
