RARE opportunity to own an original oil painting by Charles Harry Kellner!! This original artwork is dated 1934. His landscapes of British and French countrysides have been revered by many throughout the world over the years.
Kellner was born in Czechoslovakia in 1890, and immigrated to New York in 1907. After studying at the Art Institute of Chicago, he enlisted in the US Army in World War I. After studying in Europe, he returned to Chicago, where he exhibited at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and married a concert pianist.
Measurements are 30.5" wide and 26.5" tall. The understated but rich frame is in fine condition and nicely compliments this wonderful work of art.
