Description:

Wonderful musical 1.5 liter Beer Stein. Plays Trink Trink Bruderlin Trink which, when translated from German to English, means Drink Drink Brother Drink. Wonderful relief tavern scene on the stein's body. No chips, cracks or crazing. The pewter lid is in pristine condition. The wind up musical box (swiss movement inside) works perfectly.

This is a very large stein, measuring 13 1/2" tall. The opening under the lid is 3". It has never been used. It has been displayed behind glass since its purchase in Germany in 1962. I cannot remember the maker and I could only find the number 60 embossed on the body opposite the handle. The bottom has the original sticker which tells you the name of song as well as the stamp "Made in West Germany".
