Not tested to see if internal light bulb is working.  Small crack across top.  Measures 10 ¾" x 7 ½" base x approximately 18" tall.  Wood base has three dials for temperature, humidity and barometric pressure (these all work great!). This is a beautiful and rare find - and a wonderful tool for the kids to have on hand as the world globe is intricate and highly detailed.  A wonderful keepsake.  Once lit, the globe lights up brightly and makes finding pinpoints of interest very easy to see.
