It is not often we find an antique such as this is such fine condition. This piece dates back to the early 1900s and the wood is solid Oak. The mirror frame is detachable. There is a small crack in the wood mirror frame at the bottom which can be easily repaired. The drawers pull in and out smoothly. This piece has been well maintained in a climate controlled environment which has preserved the wood beautifully. This style of dresser was called the Basin Cabinet back in the day. The pitcher and wash bowl would be placed in front of the mirror to enable the man of the house to complete his shaving duties. Then he would select his ties and shirts and jeweled accessories from the drawers of the cabinet.
This is an incredible piece of antique furniture in fine condition.
