Movin On Estate Sales

I just pulled this Anvil out of a local estate. It was covered in duck droppings! They raise them there. So I just took the hose and sprayed it down clean. I don’t know a thing about anvils but don’t see any kind of break in it. How could you break this anyway? Not sure why the orange spray paint. I researched real quick to find these were sold by Sears and Montgomery Wards in the late 30’s to early 40’s.
